What helped?
Was it Bob, The PR Firm, The Gate, the machine, the Operator, the food work, or finally understanding why willpower kept collapsing?
What changed?
Did you stop drinking, reduce sugar, cook again, sleep better, feel clearer, calm your nervous system, or stop treating yourself like a lost cause?
What landed?
Was there a line, chapter, framework, metaphor, video, post, guide or book that made the old pattern finally make sense?
Who would you recommend it to?
Someone stuck in the drinking loop? Someone under load? Someone tired of self-help fluff? Someone who needs mechanics, not shame?
Write it like you mean it.
Honest, human, in your own words. The form is below. No need to polish it.
What people have actually said.
No nonsense advice and support.
After reading Ian’s posts and reading the book ‘reset your metabolism’ I have changed my whole diet. Lots of ‘healthy ‘ foods ( or so I thought) are gone.
His knowledge on nutrition is amazing and explains it so well. He Answers questions with brutal honesty.!!
I bought his e book frugal chef which came with AI Ian
I use this nearly everyday to ask about nutrition and get recipes , it’s been really helpful.
His approach to quitting alcohol is honest and enlightening. A completely different way of looking at why people drink and how to stop.
Every book im reading by Ian read is helping me lead a healthier life.
Frankly worded inspiration
I’m inspired by anyone that has the courage to change their life. Having had to pivot through mine, I find your honest approach to life refreshing. I know the hard work and dedication that has gone in to this.
Life Changing
I’d stumbled across Ian’s posts on Facebook with another large glass of red in my hand (already 1 bottle down and on second – school night too!) but that didn’t matter cause for the past 4 yrs it was the same ritual EVERY night – then up for work at 6am running on fumes and dragging my tired, overweight body out of bed. Struggling through the day and just waiting til I could pop to the shops, shut my front door and relax with another drink.
My relationship was like ground hog day, no conversation, just both busy drinking to avoid facing the rut our life had become.
I googled facebook (looking for a miracle) and stumbled over Ian’s posts – they resonated with me so deeply that I actually started questioning – is this all there is to life – or can there possibly be more ?
I’ve selected the more option 🙌 … moved out back with family, absorbed as much information from Ian’s work (without actually climbing into his head), observed, picked my time and invested into the reset package – 3 sessions. I was local enough to meet Ian in person, his knowledge, approach, demeanour, straightforward talking has given me the confidence to tackle and question my relationship with alcohol head on …. 24 days so far … my mindset has shifted from (i’m stuck forever like this) to …. Cold water dipping which is now my favourite thing, sound baths with Alpaca 🦙, self care, listening to my body and appreciating it, even buying a tent so I can escape to the coast with my fur boys solo 😳 3 months ago I felt old, tired, worn out and excepted my fate.
Now I’m finding me again, the funny me, the adventurous me, the calm me, able to enjoy life and look forward with optimism.
I am truly grateful for making the first connection with Ian, empowering me to make the changes I needed and knowing what to expect on the journey…. The fear has disappeared 👻- I know longer think about doing it – I AM doing it!!!
Genius
Read this chaps motivating posts daily on Facebook .good way with words and straight to the point .a proper bloke explains the path beyond your demons & what’s actually hijacking your body .my diets changed a lot lately because of this man & feeling better than have in yrs. 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💙
Even though …..
…..even though I still have the very very occasional cider – Ian’s updates, the features , the food and health info are all packed with sound honest advice and detail that some other resources deliberately don’t touch – because of big pharma or politics ! ….this big welsh bloke is a now part of my drive to find my best health . The the work he shares makes you question years of ‘self sabotage’ but gives you answers and direction.
Ian is not afraid to touch some ‘raw nerves ‘ and makes good reading.
If you’re struggling to get your arse in gear – I’d recommend follow Ian Callaghan.
